The Business Incubator collaborates with the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, the Angelo State University SBDC, and the Concho Valley Workforce Development Board to help businesses around the Concho Valley. Often times these collaborations include public events designed to get different organizations together, in one place, to further educate local entrepreneurs.

In January of 2010, the Business Incubator hosted an open house to showcase its new Microenterprise Incubation Program. The public knew it as the, New Year, New Opportunity Event. Many agencies from around the Concho Valley came to help CVCED with this event, as well as to provide information from their organizations.

Among the booth holders were Angelo State University, The U.S. Census Bureau, and WIC. KLST interviewed the CVCED Executive Director, Donna Osborne to help promote the event, while the Howard College Mobile Go Center set-up in the parking lot.
