THE INCUBATOR APPLICATION PROCESS

To begin the application process to enter the incubator, the Concho Valley Center for Entrepreneurial Development (the CVCED) requires each company to submit the following items:

  • A signed application.  Click here to download the regular application.  Click here to download the Microenterprise Incubation Program* (MIP) application.
  • A complete business plan (Note: if the company does not have a business plan, the CVCED can direct you to resources to help develop one.  For this assistance, please contact the Executive Director at (325) 657-9214 or cvced@cvced.org)
  • Two years of business income tax returns, if applicable
  • Any additional information required by the Board of Directors

* Entrepreneurs interested in the MIP must also submit documentation to meet those program requirements.  Call the CVCED to see if your business qualifies.

The Executive Committee will review the submitted information and forward a recommendation to the Executive Director.  If the recommendation is favorable, the Executive Director will contact the applicant and schedule a date and time for presentation to the full Board of Directors.

If the Board approves the company’s application for incubation, the CVCED will negotiate a Master License and Service Agreement with the company.

If the Board determines that the applicant does not meet its eligibility criteria, the CVCED will promptly inform the company officials of the decision and, if possible, refer the business to resources to help overcome any deficiencies.

Business owners interested in The Business Incubator are encouraged to contact the Executive Director at (325) 657-9214, or cvced@cvced.org, to discuss business plans, business concepts, or to seek other assistance.
